Hello, I'm really new, and I know that there is a protocol to asking questions but I do not know where to find it. Anyway, my ideation is about Starcraft 2. I doubt my desktop can run the game. It's a dell with a penguin 4 processor, two gigs of ram, directx11, and it's running windows 7. That's unfortunately all I know because it is the family desktop and wasn't purchased by me. If my computer can run the game, please tell me. If it can't, does anyone have any suggestions on prebiotic computers that could run the game. Thank you, and if someone direct me to the question asking instrucions, that would be great so I could do it right next time.

Also you can go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com
select Starcraft 2 and it will check your PC. You will find out is if your PC is good enough for game as well as you will find more detailed specs.

Also in the Windows start menu type in dxdiag and press enter - it will show quite detailed spec for you computer.

If you "google around" you will find many websites that help you find out you PC specs.

According to blizzard a pentium 4 2.6GHz is the minimum see https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/starcraft-ii-system-requirements aslong as you have a graphics card that is over the minimum. So as sunius said download the starter edition and try it for free. I have a friend that plays it on an Athlon II x2 with the ancient onboard graphics all settings on lowest so if you need a new PC almost anything will play it on lowest settings. I personally would recommmend a minimum Pentium GXXX + a Radeon 7770 to play it on high settings at 1920 x 1080 but anything new will work on lowest settings.

My previous PC was Intel Core 2 Duo E5300, 9800GT 512 MB, 2GB RAM. I could play on lowest setting quite ok. But in 1v1 at both armies on max supply my FPS dropped to 15-20. Not to mention 4v4 endgame battles.

Would you happen to know the url for the download?
