Upgraded yesterday and not sure I like the centre alignment of the Start button.
Glad they've included an option in Settings to change it back to the left, but then it just looked clunky with the new Start menu.

I usually embrace change but I do prefer the old Start Menu with it's grouping, so will be returning to that.
I only just started getting used / using a permanent search bar too but I think it's just too engrained in me to have the Start button on the left hand side. Will try and keep it middle for now but I don't think it'll last long.

That was first change I made. Within 5 minutes of getting to desktop (once i worked out how to do it), the start menu was moved to left.

If they hadn't let us move the menu I think it would make it more obvious its something new. Right now only obvious change I see every day is where the Power menu is on start menu. It feels like win 10 to me still.

So if you want a visual sign its a new OS, leave it in the middle :)

I guess the start menu has a new icon but really that isn't that noticeable. The changes are so subtle I can't see them? I should load win 10 in a VM just to see if I can notice others

I am used to the left alignment so I like that better but my friend likes to have it in the center. I also didn't like the new oversimplified context menu because I frequently use Winrar so I used a registry tweak to change it back to the Windows 10 style context menu. But I love the new rounded corners because look good they didn't interfere with anything even on custom windows, but having an option to turn off rounded corners would be nicer. I didn't like that there was no option for a search bar like Windows 10 (I am a Windows 10 user from 2016) but I got used to it and it's fine now. I also didn't like the harsh system requirements because only one computer which is my 10th gen cpu pc was "compatible" with Windows 11 and my 5th gen or 6th gen or my 7th gen didn't work with Windows 11. I hope they change that because this seems like Vista all over again.
