This may seem minor, but it's driving me nuts!

How can I modify some Windows setting so that all my programs appear and not
that double arrowhead pointing downwards?

I'm running Windows XP Home and utilzing the Classic Start Menu. I left
click the Start button, then left click on Programs. The menu which appears
to the right of Programs shows only a few program choices. I always have to
left click on that double arrowhead to show ALL my programs. Grrrr!!

So, how can I modify some Windows setting so that all my programs appear and
not that double arrowhead pointing downwards?

Thank you! What little sanity I have left will be forever grateful!

Right click taskbar click on properties, start menu then customize, click
the advanced tab then find scroll programs and untick it.
