Start Up error on arch linux

I built a PC and proceeded to install Arch Linux with Mate on it. I decided to make a change so I uninstalled Mate and installed Cinnamon. Now when I boot up I get to the log in screen in about 10 seconds.The problem is that once I type in my password the screen goes black and it takes about 35-40 seconds to get to the desktop. I now get this error message.
"GDBus.Errorrg.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: An authentication agent already exists for the given subject"
I am using lightdm.
Here are my PC specs:
AMD FX6300 cpu
Nvidia Geforce 650 ti gpu
120 GB samsung SSD
250GB western digital blue.

Is there a solution for this?

because you have not fully removed mate configuration files...
look under /etc/xdg/autostart
remove the mate-polkit.desktop file (or whatever the it is named)
