starts for 1 sec and then turnoff again and again

My cpu starts for a second and the closes itself..this problem occurs when i tried to run it...i tried different psu..no luck..i also changed the power cable...no luck...i don't know where is the problem coming....?

recheck all wiring and made sure board or something else do not touch the case side where it should not .

I agree with scout_03; sounds like a short.

1) Check that memory is properly seated.
2) Check that PCI cards (GPU) is properly seated.
3) Check for extra standoffs under the motherboard that don't have a corresponding screw hole on the motherboard.
4) Check for anything that 'fell' into the case or is caught behind the motherboard.
5) Check unused ports to make sure they are not damaged and don't have something shoved in them

Is this a new built? or an old build with a new problem?
