Startup items not in Startup tab of Task Manager

I've recently been experiencing drops in startup performance and naturally, the first place to look is at the startup items. I turned all but the factory defaults off, but I'm still seeing slow startup times and when I check task manager, there are a bunch of processes running that are not on the list of startup items. The programs that are on are ones that are meant by companies to be run on startup like teamviewer and auto-updaters. I know which ones I want to turn off and which ones I want to leave on, but I don't know how to get to them because they aren't in the startup tab. I have also looked into the startup registries and nothing was there either.

Solution
Some of them will be in Adminstrator Tools and then in Services where you can change them to Manual

Most of the legit programs can be turned off from starting within the options of the program itsef.
