Startup power issue - GA-X58A-UD3R

I'm got an arcade cabinet with a GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. I've got an issue when powering on. The computer starts up for a few seconds, then shuts completely off (lights, fans, etc.), then kicks back on again. Not only am I a little concerned it's unnecessary wear on the computer, since it's in an arcade cabinet I'm using a smart strip (when computer comes on, monitors come on. It's a pinball cabinet). So those are getting fired up, shut down, then back on again. I've read on the reviews of the motherboard that it's a common problem with this board, but can't find a solution. Thanks for any help.

Or maybe a better question is, can any harm come from it?
