Startup problem

Each time I have started up recently, Windows Explorer opens in C:\Program
Files\Common\Bin with 4 files within the folder entitled iviaudio.ax,
iviaudioeff.ax, ivinav.ax and ivivideo.ax.
I have checked msconfig/start... nothing unusual there.
The Microsoft Support solution to Windows Explorer opening at startup is
irrelevant.
Nothing unusual in Regedit under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
Please does anybody have any other ideas? It's driving me insane trying to
fix it!
Many thanks, Steve

I checked all the keys mentioned in regedit and didn't find anything unusual.
I renamed the file Old Bin to no avail.
Nothing unusual in msconfig services.
Interestingly, I have not used WinDVD since I last formatted my laptop six
months ago so I have no idea why those files are causing a problem.
Many thanks for your help XPUSER. It is merely an irritation at the moment
and I think that I will leave it now... possibly format and start again soon.
Thanks again, Steve.
