startup problems please help

So i have been having this problem for a while probably since like january what happens is when i turn on my computer the it turns on but there is no picture at all i have to restart it like 100 times and even then it wont work sometimes i will get the asus startup then back to black screen and also once in a while i will get the windows repair and i will do the windows restore point and about 75% of the time it works but its weird because its being set back to when i have the problem but why is it doing this
