Startup Repair Loop. Can't Boot Windows.

Hello,

So I recently got home from school and my brother's computer is on my desk with a note from my dad saying, "Fix it".

I asked my brother a couple questions and told me that he had some problems with over 700 trojans infecting his files.
(Its true. Showed me a picture since he thought it was unbelievable). Anyways he said he tried using Malwarebytes but it stopped responding on him and his computer froze so he had to force shut down.

Thats when the problem started.
Upon restarting the computer, it would take me to Start Up Repair and not surprisingly, didn't do a thing.

I tried getting into safemode but I can't do it with a windows 7. (bcdedit /set {default} blah blah)

I also ran a chkdsk on both C drives and D drives and really found nothing wrong. It just couldn't log the message or something.

So basically, I can't boot the computer. It'll just take me to the StartUpRepair and itll try to solve it or give me the option to shut down or restart.

I also tried restoring to a "checkpoint" but that didn't work. It said it was successful but it takes me back to the loop.

And I made this computer for my brother. So I'd love to get this done myself

■ Try to fix the error using the windows 7dvd. I think this s the only way, because all other ways need windows 7 running. Download one of the repair disks available online but in future create a repair disc Follow this tutorial

The only thing I can do is just put my installation of W7 OS in. Nothing else. Either that or I don't know what to do.
Could you tell me what is supposed to pop up when I put in a disc? Because when I start up the computer, it'll take me to Start Up Repair and give me some other options.

Put the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
Press a key when you are prompted.
Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
Click Repair your computer.
Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
Type : bootrec /fixmbr
Type : bootrec /fixboot

It solved any Booting problems whenever i used it.

however mine is still looping "startup repair cannot repair the computer"
...time to pull the HDD and test it for errors in another pc 🙁
