can any1 plzz tell me if wearing gloves while handling graphics card prevent static electricity from damaging my card??
And how to prevent static while assembling a pc ?

A useful method that I used on my last build is touching the metal parts of the case to ground myself. Also, do not build on carpet, as static electricity can build up if you move. Don't wear socks, and use an anti-static band if you can.

Really, it's usually as simple as frequently grounding yourself before touching components. ESD is a hazard of building, but it's really nothing to make yourself paranoid over. Use common sense.

Yeah, touching the case frequently while working will be fine. If you really want to be careful you would have to have to power supply plugged in so you get the ground through the ground wire. Otherwise you have to use a ground strap to an actual ground in your house, IE an 8 foot ground rod in the ground outside or maybe your copper water pipes into the ground under your house. The big thing is just not to have a difference in voltage from you to the place you are touching.
