At all times, my computer makes this tapping or farting noise, for lack of a better term, from my speakers. When I unplug the speakers from my computer, the noise stops, yet when I plug my speaker to my phone the noise stops.
So I'd figure it must be the front panel only, for the most part it is true. I try my HyperX headset and the same noise happens on them.
However, for the back audio connector, the static noise doesn't happen for my speakers or headset. But when I use my mic on the back panel connector, the same farting noise seems to "go through" and my friends can hear it on Discord.
Some possible culprits:
Faulty Motherboard?
Old PSU?
The way I route my cables is neat, however they are bunched up. I've seen other posts on electrical interference but they don't make sense because my back panel or front panel aren't bunched with cables. So I don't see how that could make it happen.
Some other quirks:
After playing music/general noise, the farting noise sometimes goes away for a while then comes back.
When I turn on my computer the noise is relatively quiet at bios but when windows is loaded, it gets louder
I have the latest audio driver for my motherboard
My Rig: Ryzen 1500x, 1060 6GB, Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3, Ballistix 8GB, EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze, Case: Corsair 200R
This issue just starting occurring, I didn't change anything in my setup, the issue popped up randomly.
UPDATE: It seems when I lower my speakers analog volume control and increase my windows sound, the static disappears and I can listen to music fine. However, this doesn't get rid of the static altogether.
This problem is certainly perplexing and I hope you folks here can help me.
