Static in PC Speakers

I have a 2.1 stereo system from which while Startup and sometimes just randomly comes a static sound. It gets very annoying. I have tried the plug-in & plug-off trick but to no avail. The speakers are form CREATIVE.

Unless this happens while connected to other devices, this is generally due to poor hardware. What motherboard are you using ?

This is generally fixed with a dac / sound card addition to your PC. Simply put, the whole lot of electric current flowing through your PC causes interference in the analogue signal.
