Static Noise through front panel headphone jack

Hello, I recently bought a NZXT S340 and when I plug in my headphones I get a static sound in the background, but when I push the plug into the port and hold it there it goes away. I really don't know how to get rid of it, I know it's not my headphones because when I plug them into my phone it's fine, and I also have speakers connected to the back of the motherboard.
My Motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3R rev 1.0

If you plug your headphones into the back of your computer, removing your speakers, do you still get static? Commonly this is a problem with the audio cable ran from the front of the case to your motherboard being unshielded, running by power supply cables or by the power supply itself or just being a bad connection with the front port.

The best way to fix this problem is to make sure that the audio cable inside your PC is not sitting by anything that could cause interference.

Ok ill open the pc and make sure its not touching any other cables.

I have tried this and it doesn't seem to fully work, when i point the headphones jack in a specific way it goes away.

Could be bad solder on the port? Regardless it's not something you're going to be able to fix other than just using the back ports.

It seems to be gone currently, and audio seems good. One thing is that the f_audio cable is going through the same hole as the cpu power, and it is also grouped with the other front panel io cables.

Typically cables won't cause interference, but a low quality power supply will. If it's gone, great!

It's very good. Just an issue with the front IO or cable placement. Not much you can really do about it, it's the reason I don't use the front ports for my headphones and instead just use the amp for my speakers that comes from the motherboard.

Yeah, I just like using it because its easy to get to and my headphones don't have a long cable, but I can use the usb sound card that came with them, but I also can't use the front usb 3.0 because the motherboard doesn't have one, but I'm planning on getting a new cpu/motherboard when the 8th gens come out.

I have managed to fix it, the port on the back of the pcb for the front io wasnt in correctly and the front io was slightly pushed in, but I just pushed the cable in and put the io in place and it works well.
