"ColorCases' prices are not that great. It charges too much for its lousy shipping. A week after I had placed my order, I had to send ColorCases a reminder email before the company shipped out my order. It took another whole week for the case to arrive. So it took two weeks for me to finally get my case.ColorCases' telephone customer service is non-existent,. It would only allow me to leave voice messages so its representative could "call me back" (yeah, like that's gonna happen.) It did respond to my emails in a timely fashion, though...., I won't want to deal with ColorCases again

I also have had a bad experience with ColorCases.com. I ordered a case from them two and a half months ago and it still has not arrived. I have called several times and have been told that the case has been shipped but UPS has lost the package _AND_ that they have not had that case in stock for some time and there was no way that it could have shipped to me. I have been promised a call-back with additional information three times and no one has called me back yet. It seems that I will have no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company as ColorCases.com seems completely unwilling to help. I personally believe that they are crooks.

My experience with colorcases.com was not a good one. I ordered a case and specified it to be second dayed to me. I didn't receive it till a month and half later! And it wasn't even the original one that I wanted. And to top it off it was cracked (a plastic case) in two different spots and had a broken tab. During the month and a half that I was trying to figure out where my case was, i was told: 1) They were having trouble getting the cases through customs... 2) UPS lost the delivery....... 3) Their shippers were giving them problems and weren't shipping them out...

Well....which is it??!!! After running the gamut with them, to their credit, they did offer me a higher priced case (mainly because they couldn't get me the one I ordered) and to ship it to me free of charge. However, once it finally got to me, as i stated above, it was busted. They told me to file a claim with UPS and they would ship me another one right away. I didn't get the replacement for about 2 weeks.

It was very hard to get anyone on the phone. They did respond to email in a timely manner though and seemed courteous. But it was like running in circles trying to get my order.

Consider yourself forewarned.

And... list go on and on..

Call today,and find out yourself

The service may be crap, but whats the product like, was it good when you got it?

Product? It's totally insane. They said "ATX 300w Amd Athlon approved" , but actually P/S is no more than Crab cheap low power supply not even 135W real power which is not even close to AMD.Definately, huge change to BLOW-UP you expensive Motherboard, and CPU.We should report to AMD for sending the wrong message of AMD good name.No wonder, they did not specify which Brand is their P/S to begin with it.

That company is joke! man.Stay away as far as possible.

I hate to disagree, but I just had the opposite experience with colorcase. I ordered on line week before last - my case shipped very promptly - I got it in 4 days from when I ordered. I even got a phone call from them telling me I should be receiving it that day (I did).

The case came exactly as advertised - I got one of the black/chrome ones (a video of it is on their site). I like it and it is of high quality. The PS is a Deer 300W - don't know if this is reputable brand - but it seems fine. I read a detailed review of it elsewhere - and have to agree that it is well built.

The whole reason I went to colorcase is they have nice looking cases - if you want a white dust magnet, you can find them anywhere. Nobody had the variety of cases they do. I am sure that they have some cases which aren't of the same quality I got as they have sooo many to chose from...

Now for the components from Paragon, that's a whole different story - I am still waiting for most.

'guess that it's just like what my momma used to say...
buying on-line is like a box of chocolates.

Are we talking about ColorCase (Rainier), or ColorCases (2Tech)? Curious as I was thinking about buying from ColorCase.

Just looking for clarification, nothing else.

Wrong- their fine cases. spgl... is just DPRC trying to get a rise out of people and gripe against his own competition, again. Nothing new here- he's worth only ignoring if even that.

My Jesus is whiter than your Jesus.

On May 15th, 2001, I placed an online order with colorcases.com and gave them my credit card info. On May 17th, 2001, Colorcases.com using another company name 2tech.net, charged the purchase to my account. On May 21st, 2001, I received an email from Colorcases.com stating that they were out of stock on the case that I ordered. On May 21st, 2001, I 'replied to sender', Highest Priority, (To "Ed") the above mentioned email and cancelled my order, with one easy to understand sentence, "Please cancel the order." with the invoice number given by Colorcases.com. On June 1st, 2001, I received an email with two BOGUS UPS tracking numbers from Colorcases.com which had nothing to do with my order. (You can goto UPS at www.ups.com, click on tracking and see the listing for the first number for yourself. 1z610x660317152591 Take special attention to the detailed history of the package.) On June 1st, 2001, I sent a 'reply to sender', highest priority, to all the Colorcases.com email accounts I could find and CC'd myself, stating that I had already cancelled the order and that I wanted my account credited back the money. This time with a complete and accurate history of events. On June 1st, 2001, I receive back an email from "tammy@colorcases.com", with one line in it stating: "Thank You." No other explination, nor acknowledgement of a reversal of charges. On June 5th, 7:48 A.M. PST, 2001, I receive a phone message stating that as soon as I refuse the UPS delivery, I would be credited back to my account. On June 5th, 2001, I go back and find the UPS tracking numbers, copy and paste them to the UPS webiste tracking page and find that one had already been delivered back to its original destination in Westmont, IL and the other had been changed 3 times while in transite and still has yet to find a place to arrive.

I also made the mistake of sending "Ed" a link of the comments placed on this website as a reminder of his company's history. Today I log on and find a wealth of new posts stating just how wonderful Colorcases.com is and in just one day! Gee!

Okay so they chaged me for something they NEVER sent, despite my clearly cancelling the order. Which was due to a lack of product which was NOT reflected on their website at the time when the order was placed. They STILL have MY money and they had no right to do this. These were not mistakes in my opinion!!! I do not have a rival company, no stake in any business and no personal aquantence with anyone at colorcases.com. I do not write these letters, but in this case, MY money is gone and this should have never happened in the first place.

Be VERY careful with THIS company, or any of it's other forms! It's too bad too, because if he could deliver the product they advertise, it would be unique. Too good to be true!

Couples of additional reasons why you should avoid all cause this Colorcases.com:

1. They use poor, dangerous low cheap crappy P/S : like " DEER" to cut down their cost, and offer worse P/s in the industry.

2. You can gamble on delivery. They are buying from Canadian Source, and it's always Hassle, and multiple delay is thier trade-mark. Think about your order coming. Canada to IL,and then to you.

3. Most of PC Cases Manufacturers are aware of their "Scamming" payment habit. They ask you drop shipment, and never pay to the manufacturers. For instance, HansanSystems had almost 3 months of hard time to get their last payment before decide to quit their reseller account to colorcases.

4.Most of cases on their site are not on hand inventory. They just put whole bunch of cases to pretend that they have a lot of cases.

These are not false testimonies my friends. If they do decent business why wasting my time to write this. But, this company has no respect to any exciting venders who pionerred the High End PC cases markets. All they are doing to messing up the trend with poor quality cases with absolute confusion. In addition, all they do is throlling by posting false messages to the different forums, and specially resellerrating.com

Hope to either fade away quickly,or learn the lesson hard way!

This is contribution to this forum to make reference about Colorcases.com.And, nothing more than that.

I was very dissatisfied with the order processing speed. It was very difficult to get information regarding my order and finally had to threaten to never do business with colorcases.com again before I received a short return email giving me the UPS Tracking number. I took six days for them to prepare my order (1 pc case) and have it shipped. This company should consider improving their order status procedure to include either email notifications or internet links as many other sites do. I don't think I will be ordering anything else from them.

My experience with colorcases.com has shown me that they are well meaning but too disorganized to handle internet and mail orders competently.

On May 15th, I placed an order with colorcases.com for: 1 blue case, 1 blue keyboard, and 1 blue set of speakers. I had to place this order over the telephone because their web site was not functioning correctly.

I received the shipment promptly, but there were problems with the order. First, the speakers were missing from the shipment, but I had already been charged for them. Second, the keyboard was green, even though all items in the order were supposed to be blue. Finally, the case (which was slightly damaged) had an AT backplate, not an ATX as advertised.

I contacted the company on May 25th via E-mail and notified them of these problems. Six days later, I received an E-mail from Tammy that said "we will take care of today".

After waiting 2 weeks and receiving no further communication or items from colorcases.com, I sent a second E-mail to Tammy (on June 15th). I received no response.

On June 26th, I sent a third E-mail to Tammy, customer service, and sales which again detailed the problems with my order. After 2 days and no response, I placed a call to colorcases.com.

The person I spoke to on the phone, Tom, was helpful but was completely unable to assure me that the problems with my order would be resolved. After talking to Tom for a few minutes, I asked that he connect me to a manager. The manager, Matt, was unavailable at the moment, but Tom assured me that Matt would call me back as soon as he was available.

As promised, Matt promptly returned my call. Matt was very helpful and took the time to listen to the problems I had been having. He assured me that a replacement keyboard, the missing speakers, and an ATX backplate would be shipped on the following day. He also told me he would send a tracking number as soon as it became available.

After waiting another week, I had not received the missing items or the tracking number. Again, I placed a call to colorcases.com. This time I spoke to Ed, who said that he was in charge while Matt was on vacation. Ed confirmed that the replacement items had not yet been shipped out because of a supplier problem with the speakers. Since he could not assure me that the speakers would be shipped out in a resonable time, I asked that he refund the cost of the speakers to my credit card.

The credit card refund was processed promptly and was for the correct amount. The replacement shipment arrived quickly as well. However, there was no sign of a replacement backplate for the case. At this point, I have given up on ever receiving it.

Colorcases.com does not posses the organization and communications skills to effectively service online customers. Until they can streamline their operation and provide some level of quality control and customer service, I will not do further business with colorcases.com. Luckily, there are an increasing number of retailers that offer similar color cases and computer accessories.
