Steam downloads are slow but my internet is fine?

So recently I started downloading some games I got on steam and i'm getting kb/s download speed and not the normal MB/S. No clue what could be doing this and I have googled just about everything

Downloads are slow for me to right now sadly... might be Steam.

Try changing your download region to something else, also make sure you haven't set any download restrictions.

Went to Washington and got the same thing Its been like this on and off for a few days now.

Check if there's any port forwarding to do with Steam. Make sure you also do not have a proxy when connected to Steam somehow. Also, it could be the Steam servers. Ask other people imo.
