Steam Games arent working anymore...

I recently had my hard drive replaced because of it dying on me.so when I got it replaced I saw that the games weren't working for me. First game i opened said it was due to my laptop having lower requirements then it had to. This made me scratch my head because i did play games on this laptop before....It wasn't on low setting but Very high or sometimes Ultra with the newest Games out there at the Time.(Late 2016- Mid 2017).I was looking around and found that games out of Steam worked very well,but it was only steam games that were failing on me.This saying that games have been played easily on this laptop. Maybe you can provide some answers or theorys that i can try to fix this. Ive been noticing that people have had this problem before but in many different cases.Here are my Specs. to show you with wht I'm working with.

64 bit
12gb of Ram
3gb of Video Memory
Gtx 970m
Icore i7

I know it aint much but it really does the job for Most games out there.(especially the ones i already have bought)

I assume you reinstalled windows and steam when you replaced your hard drive right? If you didn't try those... also try DDU for a complete driver uninstall and reinstall your graphics card driver from Gforce Experience and tell me if it works

I think it worked, thanks man I reinstalled the Graphic drivers for My Laptop.I think it was because it didn't have the right kind of drivers because I searched up drivers from Nvidia and it had a search on it this time which was for specific kinds of models I think that's why its working now.Thanks again you are the Man!!!!
