I'm wondering why my game's fps are not being shown when I play games on steam. I believe I set it correctly where I go to IN-GAME then turn on the IN-GAME FPS COUNTER. I did this but yet i don't see the fps. Can anyone help me please? Thank you
Have you tried restarting your computer? Are you sure you also have the Steam Overlay enabled by default?
I tried it with the Steam Overlay enabled and with it disabled. It didn't make a difference. Will it be possible for me to change the entire steam settings back to default? Or maybe uninstall and install steam again?
1) You're using an actual Steam game, that you bought on Steam, and are running from Steam, not from the .exe directly in the game folder?
2) Are you trying with only 1 game or multiple games? fullscreen, windowed, borderless windowed?
This is what the FPS counter should look like: (The pink one is the one I actually use, because it shows info about CPU and GPU usage and temps as well, it's a combination of HWinfo64 and Rivatuner Statistics server)

yes. I'm playing games that are actual Steam games like MGS5, GTA5, Resident evil 4, Counter Strike GO. I didn't open them from the folder but from Steam itself. And I'm playing them all on Fullscreen.
I finally figured out. I did enable the Steam Overlay on the settings but the Steam Overlay in the games were not enabled. So I enabled it and it works now. Thanks a lot!!
