Hello, I just bought a new drive and I want to move all my programs to it but keep windows on the old one. I went to uninstall Steam but it does not show up as a program. It is located in the programs (x86) folder. How do I uninstall it? Help, pls.

Please describe exactly what you're doing.
You have a new drive?
Where is the OS? Did you install an OS on this new drive?
OS is on old drive. I moved my games to the new drive. Im not going to install OS to the new drive for now. I just want to move steam to the new drive but Steam is not listed as an installed program, therefore, I cannot install it on the new drive like I would like to.
You don't need to move the Steam client.
You can move just the games, if desired...
Better idea is to leave client on C drive and just move the default library location for all the games to another drive. Client uses very little space, games library is another matter.
See option 2 here: https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2015/07/how-to-move-a-pc-game-to-another-hard-drive-without-re-downloading-it/
Otherwise, the steam app should show in Settings/Apps'/Apps & Features. Is it not in the list?

arrggg...that is ancient outdated info for Steam.
No symlink foolishness needed.
