Question Steam Room Scale and Samsung Odysee

I hope someone can help me here. I tried at steam's forum but no replies.

I just got an Odysee+ and can't seem to setup room tracking for Steam. It sets up and works great in the Mixed Reality Portal. It seems like maybe Steam can only setup room scale if you have a Vive or Rift with base stations. Does anyone know if that assumption is correct and if not can you provide me with with any instructions? Basically what happens now is the setup sees my controllers but when creating boundaries it does not track them well and even though my room is much larger than the required size it always comes back saying I don't have enough room and creates room shapes nowhere near what it really is.

You could always try a "quick calibrate" and choose the room size yourself.

I am unfamiliar with your particular system, but taking a quick look it seems that your sensors are equipped on the controllers. I would definitely quick calibrate to small room and not enable companion.
