Hi! I am new to the PC community and recently picked up my PC. I tried to install Steam but it went on the SSD, which was fine at first. I encountered a major problem though, my games on Steam such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Payday 2 and Garry's Mod were taking up way more space than they should of. Payday 2 took 50GB up on my PC, and it should only take up 11, CS:GO took up 20GB. Is this a problem with my games or my SSD?
My HDD is 2TB and is empty. Has not one folder on it, not Program Files or Users. Do I need these files or not, how do I get them? Is it a problem with Steam or not? I really need to know this as I have spent $200 on Steam games to play with friends over the past 2 years. Origin works absolutely fine with games such as The Sims 3, The Sims 4, Battlefield 4 and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare only taking up as much space as they should. How do I fix this issue?
Kind regards,
MyHorse
