SteamBox Build

I was derping around on the internet and I see people building all of these "SteamBoxes." They are basically barebone pc builds that use Steam Big Picture to play games on your Tv with a controller or keyboard and mouse. I am wondering if they are worth the $500-$600 to build them. I was thinking about it but I wanted to see what other people think. Thanks

Well, you can hook up a normal PC to TV too, can't you? .

They are just a small PC, you would get a better PC with more upgrade option from a full size PC at the same price.

Get yourself a mini-Itx case and motherboard and build your own. Steam BP works brilliantly with a 360 controller but some of the older game will have issues and you may have to do a little setting up
