SteelSeries Rival vs Mad Catz R.A.T. Tournament Edition

So my old mouse gave up on me few days ago and i am stuck between these 2 final options (yes i have considered almost every other mouse there is.) So it all comes down to these 2. As the RAT has 2 more buttons than rival it seems to me a better choice. So any suggestions and reviews are welcome

Madcatz mice have been known to be ergonomic for some time now while people who have used the Rival say it's good for semi palmed/clawed stances on their hands. The Rival has RGB backlighting mind you are you looking at the 100 or the 300, right?
