Steelseries siberia V2 3.5mm jack headphones - SOUND NOT ON PAR WITH WHAT REVIEWS ARE TELLING ME

Not that i dislike them, theyre great, and im 99% sure its a issue with my pc, but the sound is just too quite. I'm now using razer surround, which has improved loudness and now simulates surround, but this still doesnt feel £60 worth of sound. The mic also has an insane amount of static, even with mic boost down to 10Db. Do i need a sound card? Is the itnergrated card in the asus h81m - plus just not good enough?

Do they sound any different on another computer, be it laptop or desktop? what about a cell phone?

With an impedance of 32ohms it could be your audio output is not powerful enough to reach the levels you want.
