So I am going to install my hard drive today, but I have looked on google whether or not I should completely wipe my old SATA 1tb hard drive so that I can reinstall windows on my new hard drive or what. There isn't anything that I need to keep on this old hard drive so I wanting to wipe this one and sell it then install my new. Any ideas. (I tried explaining it the best I could, let me know if I need to clarify more)
Thank you very much!

Solution
It's very simple really.

Shut off the PC.

Unplug the data cable from the regular HD.

Install the SSD.

Plug in the Windows Media (USB) and boot and install Windows.

Shut it back down.

Plug in the Data cable on the old drive again.

Boot up windows.

Wipe the old drive.

Shut it back off.

Remove the old drive.

Awesome! Seems simple enough. About step 4 though, what do you mean by Plug in the Windows Media (USB)? I have my windows 7 on a disk. Sorry for the silly question not too familiar with all this.

You have to put in the Windows 7 Disk rather than the USB and boot the PC and it will start setup.
