Good thing he never got around to designing that iCar. I could only imaging what that would look like.

"we decided you don't really need air conditioning, or mirrors. they just muddy up the clean lines and look of everything"

[citation][nom]sheepsnowadays[/nom]I wonder how stable it is being a complete wedge, looks like it can catch a lot of wind and waves.[/citation]
Did you see how horrendously slow the sliding glass doors operate? Have fun using those in the middle of a storm...

Where are the " can it play crysis " comments? At least I'm going to ask can it's fuel tank take you to shore (one battery charge hold a day)? Another good one: Does the captain know how to "hold it the right way"? Did the company gave it a aluminum finish with paint that chips off to improve it's look after the unveiling? Last but not least: Is it going to use Apple maps, instead of running into a harbor it will run into a (sand) bank=))=))=))=))=))

[citation][nom]SneakySnake[/nom]I'm sure all the engineers and builders were paid quite handsomely for building a custom yacht. The shuffle is like $40 tho, which is probably the equivalent of them working an extra half hour[/citation]

I think it might be the info is old, and they got the shuffle when the shuffle was the hotness.

Its somewhat a statement of how ephemeral these gadgets are.
In 3 years time, all the gadgets you think are must-haves now will just be useless obsolete junk.

Meanwhile, something a little more traditional like a watch may have a longer lifespan.

What does this have to do with computer hardware???? This site has gone downhill fast. Need to find a new site. Tired of the apple fanboys. You might as well call this site Toms Apple.....

[citation][nom]spartanmk2[/nom]"What a piece of junk"-Luke SkywalkerAnd no, I doubt its got it where it counts.[/citation]

Wish I could like this a million times!

[citation][nom]c4v3man[/nom]Just to make sure it's clear, it's likely that shuffles were given to EVERYBODY who worked on the ship, even the loading dock guy. It's not like the boat was staffed by 12 people, and each one got a shuffle, we're probably talking about 100+ people minimum. That being said, looks ugly, and seems to follow the "form before function" approach as expected.[/citation]
ok... 100 people x a $40 shuffle? seriously? That is only $4,000.

A thank you is one thing... that is just plain insulting. At least give people something that they ca pick what song they want instead of just having play/pause and next.

read my post above.

This info might be old and they got the shuffle when the shuffle was the hotness. It could have been a not-even-yet released shuffle, super limited engraved edition.

But my point is all these gadgets are ephemeral. Even if they gave them ipad minis which is the sold out apple hotness now, In 3-5 years time you're going to look back and say it's useless obsolete junk.

I want iPods and iPads to look simple and minimalistic, but doing the same design ideology to a ship makes it look..... cheap. It's only this yacht's sheer size that gives you a clue that it's expensive.
