Still looking for 48X front loader

I have a 48X Tohshiba CDROM that is getting close to its last leg. I am having slugish loading and ejecting. Would anyone know how to diagose this problem or know where to buy the front loaders? I understand that they are not made anymore.

I don't know about this one. I have a kenwood 72x, and was just looking around the net. I guess they ain't in production anymore, so when it goes out on me, I have no idea what I'll be using. Guess it's time to start reading reviews....
