[SOLVED] Stock i7 8700k settings but max vcore 1.344?

I have all stock settings, and have never OCed my 8700k. I just put in a new Corsair H100i RGB AIO cooler since my Hyper 212 Evo was giving me high temps.. I ran prime95 with CPU HWMONITOR running the back to see my temps. I saw that the vcore was 1.344v.. I feel like this is too high for stock default settings on an i7 8700k as I see people OC to 5ghz with lower vcore..

What should I do to lower these temperatures to below 80C?

Introduce negative core voltage offset in small increments and run stability testing after each increment up until the point where it would fail the test and then go one step back.

When I go into the bios AI tweaked the core volt is set a 1.136.. do I just put a negative offset to that and go down by increments?

I would just use the Intel tuning tool instead.
It makes life easier...
