Question Storage Drives Disconnect After Awaking From Sleep

Hello all, I decided to make an account to ask about this weird scenario I've encountered, here are my specs before announcing the issue:

Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor 3.2 GHz
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR4-2133 CL15 Memory
ASRock X570 ATX AM4 Steel Legend Motherboard - No-Wi-Fi
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 Gb

STORAGE:
Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500 Gb - Windows installed on this drive
WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM HD
Western Digital Blue 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

So about 2 or so months ago I decided to slot in a new nvme drive, the WD_Black SN850X. Everything worked find, formatted and such, no issues. However I noticed once I put the computer to sleep and turn it on again. My drives end up disconnecting themselves and/or they are no longer visible by the system. The computer boots normally with everything working. Prior to the new install this was never an issue but as soon as I installed the drive, the issue comes up. Once I try to open any files on the drives besides the Windows drive, I get an error message (I don't have a screenshot of it currently). I know its not any updates to the computer as the computer is up to date, so thats ruled out, I even tested the drive via the CMD prompt to fix any corruptions but nothing was found. I also scanned the computer for any issues and nothing came up. The computer also does not have fast boot on, so thats also ruled out.

*Also to note, my graphics card is on the PCIE-4 slot of the motherboard. Due to its bulkyness, I wasn't able to keep it at the default PCIE-1 slot when I upgraded the motherboard before all this, Im not sure if this is the cause of this problem.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a fix, suggestions or if its a compatibility issue compatible with my motherboard? Its a bit tiring to shut down and relog into everything daily or even when I step away for 30min -1hr.

You might want to elaborate on the motherboard upgrade part. Did you recycle the OS drive after the motherboard swap? If so, you will need to reinstall your OS.

Just to add, you've left performance on the table by goin with a DDR4-2133MHz ram kit. 1000 and 2000 series AM4 Ryzen platform's sweet spot was DDR4-3200MHz. You also forgot to mention the make, model and age of the PSU.

Its a bit tiring to shut down and relog into everything daily or even when I step away for 30min -1hr.
FYI, if you're going to be away from your system without anything running on said system, the logical thing to do is power down the system and turn the wall outlet off. This prevents the system from drawing power or be left vulnerable to any mishaps power wise as there are instances of a surge.

In regards to the motherboard, before this issue came up with the new storage install. Windows 11 was freshly installed on the Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500 Gb which was formated beforehand, The motherboard was purchased to get the windows 11 upgrade.

As for the ram, they are a bit old as they were purchased a few years ago when I first built the pc with older parts at the time.... My next upgrade will be the ram to get it up to a 32Gb, thanks for the tip.

The PSU I didn't include since I don't think this could have been ruled out, however its: SeaSonic G 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply. The estimated wattage for the build minus the new storage install from my pcpartpicker is estimated at 451W. I am uncertain when this was made but the build was put together in 2017
