Question Storage Spaces "prepare for removal"

So, I'm toying with Storage Spaces and have 2 SSDs and a 6TB drive in the pool.

The 6TB drive through an error, Storage Spaces flagged it for removal.

I removed it, formatted it, scanned it, then readded it.

It continues to have the flag "prepare for removal."

Is this normal? How do I remove that flag?

its always possible there is a record of that drive is kept somewhere in registry and it recognises the drive as being faulty. Alas, I can't find anything to back that idea up. Formatting drive won't change its GUID number (Global Unique ID - Every GPT drive on earth has its own number)

Hard Disk Sentinel maybe able to shed some more light on the subject, but sorry. I am not sure 🙁
