It's hard to tell from your pictures, but the front looks like it says DS410. If so, unfortunately this is one of their weaker models using a single-core Power (RISC) processor running at 1.06 GHz.

The Synology NASes are very flexible with a lot of supported functions beyond merely acting as a file server.
