Question Storing a laptop?

I bought a laptop in 2016 for school and been using it as my main computer for school and leisure. It's always been powered by AC except when I've been in school.

However I recently built a PC and I'm currently not in school so I have no use for my laptop. I'll need it again in probably september when I start my studies again. So until then, how should I store it? Should I just turn it off and let the battery run out or keep it constantly charging?

Modern lithium-ion batteries can remain on chargers without harm now, however, I've always kept it best practice to charge them to max and then shutdown and unplug it. That is also my recommendation to you.
