Question Strange Beeping Noise with New GPU - Seeking Advice

Hey everyone,

I recently switched to a Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT. I'm actually quite satisfied with the card so far.

However, the system suddenly produces a strange beeping noise randomly under full load while gaming. I recorded it once. I can't determine when and why the beeping occurs - it has only happened under full load so far, after a random amount of time. I couldn't reproduce it with a stress test, at least I didn't run it for a long enough duration.

As you can hear in the video, the noise disappears as soon as the load decreases (I was playing Cyberpunk and paused the game with ESC for a short duration).

I uploaded it to yt:

better quali with case open + longer duration:

My question now is: could this be due to the coils, like a form of coil whine? I think it could be the PSU because the PSU is front mounted and the sound is coming from there.

Has anyone experienced something like this or recognizes the type of noise I'm describing? I had once a broken HDD which sounded like this. But on my HDD are only files stored. System, apps and games are all stored on M2s.

Thanks in advance! :)

include your complete systems specs with the make & model of power supply + it's time in use.
Thank you for the reply, and sorry for forgetting to include my specs. I've edited them into my first post.

The beeping occurred after I replaced the GPU. I assume it's because the PSU now has to deliver more power. It has never happened before (I used an MSI GTX 1080 and a Nitro Sapphire+ 5700XT before).
