Hi! Today i installed Windows 10 on a10 7850k machine (8gb ram, 1050 Ti) it was on Win 8 Before, with stock amd cooler etc.. But while I was installing win10 i heard a beep from the speaker that at 1st I ignored.. Everything was ok with the installation windows ran fine I installed gpu drivers,audio drivers and I wanted to see how this cpu performs. I started H1Z1 King Of The Kill at 1st and the CPU Fan started to spin like a plane engine (It was not happening with win8) I instantly stopped the game and went to the bios and I saw 77C CPU Temp (Cheap Gigabyte motherboard) What can cause that overheat?

The stock amd cooler, and yes it was running. I told the guy who owns the pc to stop it for now to cooldown a little bit cause (77C in bios is amazingly high for APU) and I will tell him to update windows 10 to the lastest version! And when I saw the pc the cpu on idle was on 10-15% usage. Is it possible the windows installation to heat it that much

While not to your extreme, I did have a CPU issue after installing Windows 10. After investigation, turns out Windows 8 and Windows 10 both have the runtime broker. Is that showing up in the resource monitor as using the CPU? This can be an absolute CPU hog in Windows 10 (but not Windows 8).

Go to registry editor (Windows+ R -> regedit)
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> Time Broker
Modify the value labeled "Start" and change the value to 4

Restart and see what happens.

I will do it I just saw that the damn windows started to update itself without asking and this might be the issue the guy who owns the pc will wait until it get updated to the last version then he we will try to stop runtime broker if its a problem

Has the Intel Turbo Boost driver for windows 10 been installed? Might want to verify what it's boosting the clock to. In addition, within the turbo boost application set the minimum CPU usage threshold to something such as 99% to ensure the cpu frequency isn't being boosted until 100% load as a method of eliminating the turbo boost as the culprit.

Intel Turbo Boost Driver on AMD Based PC 😀 ?!?! Isn't It called AMD Overdrive and I disabled Turbo Core in the bios earlier

Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't read the details very well. I just glanced over 7's and k's and started thinking i7 and 4770k and the like. The important thing here is there is clearly no solution...
