Strange Initials (Windows)

Hello Tomshardware,

I really have no idea, from where to start, but I'll give you guys some screenshots about my problem, hope you'll understand. I had some notes before in some.txt document. After some time I tried to open it again, but instead of normal English words, I've got some strange initials, which I don't know, how to solve.

Hi, i am no expert but it looks like you may have a virus on your computer. If you have used Notepad to create the document and are seeing this when you are trying to open it back in Notepad, something has modified the file to an extent that Notepad does not understand it anymore. On the other had if you have created the file on another application like Microsoft Word then it may be in a format that Notepad doesn't understand. Check the format of the document and try opening it with the creator application. Google the format if you don't know what created it. If it turns out its a virus problem. Scan your computer with a good antivirus Such as Norton, Kaspersky or Avast (i am not saying that these are the best). Invest a little time (and money) in installing an antivirus on your computer. Be careful of what you download and run on your computer. Hope this helps.
