Question strange internet behavior

Whenever I open use anything that requires a constant stream of bandwith, watching live streams, live data feeds etc, everything else on the computer including other webpages has no internet connection until I stop or refresh whatever is streaming bandwith. Does anyone now what the problem is ?

Does that affect one machine on your network or others as well? Is that a problem also if other devices on the same network streaming same type of content ?

I only have this problem on older systems and if I'm viewing at a high res as it taxes the whole system.

Ok - so this is something you experience on different devices, all well aged? Do you have newer device as well, and they / all of them also suffer if another device is streming - is that correct?

New ones won't do this as frequently and even on the old ones it's not as bad if I turn down the video resolution to like 480p or less.

Are all devices connected at WiFI? Does this issue applies for cabled devices as well?

Can you run speedtest.net at following scenarios (most interresting if both on cable)

• When not streaming anything.
• When streaming HI res on same computer
• When streaming LO res on same computer
• When streaming HI res on different computer
• When streaming LO res on different computer
