Question Strange issue with RAMs conflicting with system boot ?

So I have some kind of weird issue where my pc won't boot at all, the lights are on and fans are working. I noticed it fixes itself when I reinsert the rams several of times or doesn't work at all. I have 2 sticks, one is 4gb, the second one is 8gb. both are 1333mhz and ddr3. I noticed this happens when I unplug the pc for more than 12 hours or so. Anyone can suggest something? motherboard is ASUS H61M-A/USB3

I would like to mention that the 4gb ram stick is from GoodRAM and the second one is kingston. Could that be the issue? But it was working all the time without any issues. it only keeps happening when the PC is unplugged for several hours. I have to re-seat the rams several times to get it working. Couldn't find a forum thread about similiar issue as mine . I also tried resetting the bios but that didnt help.

Mixing different brands of RAM is always a gamble. I suggest you buy a matched pair (ie two identical sticks of RAM in one package).

Replace BIOS battery.

I could do that but the bios settings are saved all the time even after the 12 hours, so i do not think it could be battery problem. Also the same issue occurs when i tried to boot my pc without the bios battery so yeah

Or perhaps PSU is dying.
BTW - why do you have to unplug your pc?
