Strange issue with this site bookmarked and asking me for 2fa verification code

On a laptop running windows 11 and using chrome, I have this site bookmarked but not logged in. The place bookmarked is the windows 11 forum page. I have 2fa setup for this site. When I go to that bookmark, it instantly brings me to the page where it asks for the 2fa code and I do receive that code. Instead of entering code, I just go to where I want to go without logging in. When I go to that bookmark, my intention is not to log in. I have been logged into this site on the laptop before, just don't stay logged in all the time.

When I noticed this, I bookmarked another forum page on this site and the same thing happens. This is not really a big deal, maybe more of an annoyance. But never had this happen before so not sure why it would be happening now. Just wanted to make sure nothing is going on security wise on the forum's end.

If you visit any part of the site while logged in, bookmark it, then attempt to return to that page while logged out you will be required to log in again before access is granted. It has always been this way.

On my main desktop, I tried to reproduce this. While logged in, bookmarked a page, logged out, went back to that bookmark and it didn't ask me to login.

On the laptop, when I go to the bookmark, it goes straight to the page asking for 2fa code without having to enter my username, I don't enter the code and just go to wherever I was going without logging in.
