Hi all 
After playing a lot of Battlefield 3, I decided to go back and have a game of Modern Warfare 3. But I have this weird problem, every time as I click play on steam, the "preparing to launch" dialog box pops and immediately as the game tries to launch my computer will just lock up. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted. I have to do a hard power off and on. I thought this was a coincidence but after powering back on and signing into Steam, it happened again. I've only had this problem as off today ( 7 August 2012 ) and I've played the game before with no problems. All my other games such as Black Ops and my other Steam games launches fine. I have tried re-installing the game, to no avail. I'm too scared to try launch it any more because I'm scared with all the hard power offs I'll eventually damage my hardware. My system specs are as follows:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k (no oc)
Ram: 8gb Corsair Vengence
Graphics Card: Msi nGTX550ti
Hdd: Seagate Barracuda 500gb ( all games installed here.)
SSD: Adata S510 120gb (Os)
