I have various PC's all working fine at one point. I've not used one of the oder PC's in a while and when I came to use it it couldn't fine the SSD, doesn't even show up in the BIOS. I swapped the SSD into another machine and it works fine.

I also put the SSD out of another PC into the older PC and that works too, both machine boot up no problem with the two SSD's swapped but the original one won't work in the original PC no matter what I do, swapped various cables, power supplies etc.

I did start to re-install windows via a USB stick but that too said no drive found so I restarted and lo and behold it booted up no problem but after shutting it down again it refuses to find the drive again.

The drive is an older OCZ 64GB one.

No, I need to hook it up to a pc with an extra sata and power supply cable, the one I tested it in only has a single sata power connector.

It was an old drive anyway and I've ordered a new one for £15 so I'll see what thats like tomorrow.
