Strange USB-c Hub Issue - Intermittent Peripheral Lag

Hi Guys,

I purchased a USB-c HUB with video, audio out + 4x usb -> https://griffintechnology.com/products/laptop-accessories/universal-usb-c-docking-station

When I turn on my laptop (windows 10) with the usb hub plugged in all is initially well. My display, mouse, keyboard and headset are working more or less perfectly.

After a few minutes i start to experience heavy lag on my mouse and keyboard. Restarting fixes the problem, temporarily. Bizzarely, running Windows' 'Hardware and Devices' troubleshooting scan fixes the problem while the scan is running (and the lag immediately returns on completion of the scan).

Does anyone know what the problem might be here? And how i could try to fix?

UPDATE: After many many hours of trying to tinker with power settings, selective suspend permissions and getting nowhere, i updated my BIOS everything has sorted itself out. Happy days.
