MY PC SPECS CURRENTLY:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
GPU: Radeon AMD R9 380X 4GB
Ram: 16GB DDR4
CPU Cooler: H80i v2
QUESTION:
So I been wanting to stream WoW in 720P 60 FPS, but the thing is will a upgrade from i5-6500 to i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600 (Non X) be the better choice. I want to run 60+ FPS while doing Raids and what not while I am streaming. I can handle below 60 FPS, but I dont want any lower than 45 FPS. I want the game to run on setting 8-10 I prefer 8 over 10 though. I am thinking that the i7-7700K will be the better one due to me having a MOBO that supports it and also a Cooler that supports it, if I go Ryzen I will have to get the bracket for the Cooler and a MOBO for the CPU to work, so either way I will spend just as much money.
PROBLEM:
My current MOBO does not support Overclocking, but in the future I can get one that does, so for now if I go i7 I will run it stock.
