Question streaming

I'm building a new system meant for gaming and streaming. I don't know a lot about streaming so was wondering if 6 cores on my cpu would be enough if I would want to stream at 1080p 144fps

Home Theater PC's HTPC's are several orders less in needed hardware to perform flawelessly. If you can game at 1080p @144hz then you can stream.

If you can game - like running uphill
Streaming - like running downhill
