What's the strongest cpu for am3 socket? I need Cpu that wouldnt Bottleneck r9 270x too much.

Top of the line for Am3 cpu`s is the 9500 series.

But as wolfshadw says first of all we need to know what brand of motherboard you have and it`s model number to check to see if it can support a FX 9590 cpu. ect.

Yeah but It should be compatible with some am3 chips as it states in its description
