Hello,

I am using an USB Stick to install windows 10. After change the language screen and pressing ''install now'' the cursor turns into an hourglass and says ''setup is starting''. I can not get past this screen.

Any tips on getting further?

Solution
Did you create the USB installation disk or it was purchased?
Is that a new system?
Have you tried other USB ports (USB 2.0)?
Post system model or components.

thanks for answering!

I put the Windows 10 iso file on my USB Stick.
I also tried using other USB ports.

I changed my motherboard, CPU and RAM today. So i guess the system is new.

CPU:Ryzen 5 2600 six core
RAM: 8GB DDR4 Ballsitix Crucial 1 Stick
GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 4GB
MOBO: ASUS Prime A320M-K
HDD: 2TB
SSD:120GB

It just started working randomly 😀
Nevertheless thanks for answering!

Glad it worked out.

By the way, I noticed you have two disks.
It is recommended to have connected only the disk you are installing Windows 10. Other disks could be connected afterwards.
It could happen if you have both disks connected while installing Windows 10.
Windows 10 might create bootable partitions on both disks, so both disks will be required for Windows to boot.
