You have to love ECS boards.
Right if you have just built the system.
And you have an fitted a Pci-e graphics card into the slot of the motherboard.
And then you have fitted the monitor lead to the Pci-e card.
You need to remove it from there and use the Dvi port or the 15 pin D-sub connection of the motherboard first.
Once you do that, when you press the F2 key to enter the bios it will be displayed on the monitor screen.
You must then when in the bios, turn off the motherboard on board graphics.
(If you have a pci-e card fitted)
And from the options select the Pci-e as the primary default display output.
Once done save the settings before exiting the bios.
Swap the cable back over to the pci-e card.
And after that the bios will...
