Before any other answers, what is your full PC spec? CPU/Mobo/Ram/GPU etc. We're only guessing without that.
i did update my bios to latest version from the offcial asus website i will clear the cmos ok and let you knowOkay, ideally you need to be on 3607 bios for your mobo. You can check which bios you have by running CPU-z and looking at the mainboard tab.

Well, we're trying to rule things out. I guess that given the drive wasn't recognized until the cmos clear, then re-installing windows might be an option, if it's still not booting.even when it worked fine with the old psu ???
