Stuck on BIOS Screen for 1 minute, then flashing cursor

Hi guys,

I'm in really big trouble here. I wanted to fix my Windows 7 not recognizing my USB 3.0 slots and I read somewhere that switching from Legacy ROM to EFI Compatible ROM would help fix the problem, so I went into my BIOS and did that. When I restarted, the BIOS screen (Gigabyte) stayed for a good minute (instead of just flashing), and then led me to a console-like cursor flashing, on a black screen.

I've tried everything but I have nowhere to go because it's a BIOS problem (it seems), and not Windows or anything. I can't boot into anything because when the BIOS screen shows, none of the usual options work.

I have absolutely no idea where to go. Anybody have any ideas?

UPDATE: So I've tried resetting the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery, leaving it out, starting the system without it, and whatnot. After it was out for like 20 minutes, I put it back in and tried to start it again. The BIOS screen was there for another minute like usual, but this time, there is no flashing cursor. I have no idea if this is progress or not, but it sure doesn't look good. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks

Figured out the problem. I'll post it here in case anybody has a similar problem. Apparently, if the BIOS gets stuck like that, you need to completely remove your dedicated graphics card (in my case, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760), and use the onboard graphics card. This got me into my bios, and from there, you can reset/fix whatever your problems are.

I would say thanks to all that helped, but nobody actually submitted anything, so yea. Hope this helps somebody.
