Question Stuff on motherboard

So I ordered this 6th gen msi z270 A pro motherboard from Newegg, it's listed as used like new, but I've noticed some weird discoloration on the the metal parts and even the io shield that doesn't seem to clean off entirely. What should I do?

i want to but its gonna take like 2 months total for me to get my money back and get a new one. not sure if its worth it, it came from china

I would bet this was stored in a humid environment. That stuff might be mold.

well it doesn't come off no matter how hard i try to clean it lol

It's just minor discoloration of the metal, probably from being in a humid environment. It's a used board so you have to expect minor cosmetic defects like that.

If it works, use it. Next time buy only new if you want new appearance.
