My system is 3600, 1660 ti, 16 gb ddr4 3200 ram, 860 evo ssd.
Many games seem to stutter alot,
Serious stutter:
tomb raider, bf5.
some stuttering:
metro exodus, world war z
minimum stuttering:
witcher 3, gears of war 4/5, plague tale:innocence.
no stuttering:
wolfenstein 2, battlefront 2(dx11)
I also notice that when turning dx12 to dx 11, tomb raider stuttering/screen freeze reduced to almost null, and battlefront 2 has 15~20 fps when I play it on dx12, and only get normal fps when it's running on dx11.
I don't think my set up is supposed to stutter that much,
what could cause stuttering in a(my) system?
I did a userbenchmark and I got good scores on all my components and exceed expectation except for my ssd which is on the 25th percentile, could the SSD be the problem ?
But why is it only stuttering on games selectively?
If you have any idea, I would appreciate it!
